Geoff Eastwood - FBDO Managing Director

Since taking over Eye Care Centre Spalding Ltd in 2002, Geoff says that no two days have ever been the same. Now he is able to continue his contact lens work but also do the necessary admin, lab work and dispensing! Working with such a fantastic professional team means there is never a dull moment.
Geoff became interested in optics in 1968 when he was used as a guinea pig by his optician, who was doing a contact lens course at Bradford University. As a very self-conscious teenager being able to wear these fantastic alternatives to very thick spectacles changed his life! After qualifying in 1975, he went straight into contact lens work and has been specialising in contact lenses ever since.

Katie Eastwood - BSc (hons) MCOptom

Katie became interested in a career in optics fairly early on as both her parents are opticians. She studied at Bradford University and qualified in 2003. She began working at Eye Care Centre Spalding Ltd in 2005 and enjoys working in a market town as it gives her the chance to get to know her patients really well.

In 1995, Jackie began her career in optics and when she qualified she attained 2 prizes for her top results in the examinations. Jackie loves her contact lens work and prides herself on keeping up to date in the latest products to always offer you the best options to suit your lifestyle and visual requirements.

Nina Mehmed - BSc (hons) MCOptom

Nina studied Optometry in Manchester where she qualified in 1998. Originally from Peterborough, she moved back to the area and joined Eye Care Centre Spalding Ltd in 1999. She loves her job and particularly enjoys refraction and binocular vision.
